Class A Motor Home Leveling and Compatibility with Wheel Chocks and Levelers

Question:

First, I am very new at this and will be traveling on my own. I recently bought an older 30 ft. Class A motor home and will be flat towing my personal vehicle. First question: will this item work with a Class A? Axel in the front and rear. Second question: If levelling is required would I need to detach tow bar, remove my car or both?

The Andersen Camper Wheel Chock and Leveler # AM3604 will work with applications that have tires up to 32 inches diameter and up to 30,000 lbs total weight. Class A motorhomes as long as they fit those requirements will work. If your tires are larger, than I recommend the Hopkins RV Leveling Kit with Electronic LED Smart Level # HM0820K. The leveling device will help you determine your needs so you won't need continued adjustments to get it right.

If leveling your motorhome is required, it is recommended to detach your vehicle and most tow bars fold up and store on the motorhome. Many tow bars even have storage covers like the Roadmaster Tow Bar Cover # RM-055-3 for this feature.

I've attached some videos to assist. Let me know if you have further questions.
