Inner and Outer Bearing and Grease Seal for Older Trailer

Question:

I have single axle 1997 trailstar trailer for a 17 foot trackerboat that I want to change the bearings races and seals on. It has ez lube style spindles and had 2 rubber o rings that were all streched out and just hanging out on the very back of the spindle. It looks like there is a only one spot for an o ring so not sure If someone replaced it before me and just left the original one on there. The inside bearing was a L68148 the outer a L44648 and the grease seal is a nok ad2527e.. I am having trouble locating the correct grease seal the o ring as well as the L68148 bearing. my local trailer repair shop suggested I use a different hub that used a gs-1719dl grease seal however looking at the specs I think this wont seal correctly . my spindle specs are inner 1.38 outer 1.065 and seal surface 1.691 if you could help guide me to the right products to rebuild this properly I would really appreciate it.

We carry bearings, races and a seal that are very, very close to your measurements but not exact.

For example, the inside bearing we carry is # L68149 and it has a 1.378" inner diameter; the correct race for this is # L68111.

For the outer bearing we carry # L44649 which has a 1.063" inner diameter and the matching race is # L44610.

Finally there is the grease seal, for which we carry # 58846 which has an inner diameter of 1.719".

You could get all of these parts together on a new hub at part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K, for which I've added a link to a video review.
