Question:
Okay so I just traded my man card away and bought a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. We have a little pop up trailer that has the round 7 way connector. I saw a wiring harness with a brake connector too but there are no brakes on my camper so I wouldn’t “HAVE” to hook that up right? Is the instal just like the four way flat? Can I order an adapter to have both the 7 way and a 4 way flat? Is there a 7 way wiring harness that doesn’t include the electric brake connector that might be cheaper then the one with? Sorry for so many questions, have to get started on this project as we have a camping trip in a month

I found your order and see that you arleady purchased:
Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver # 75579
Trailer Wiring Harness # HM11141995
Adapter # 37185
Brackets # 18138 and # 18140
All of which will work on your 2018 Grand Caravan and sounds like exactly what you need. The only exception is maybe substituting the long bracket # 18136 for the short # 18140 because there isn't always enough space using the short one with a 7-way.
The adapter, # 37185, includes both a 4-way and 7-way connector. To install it you plug it into the 4-way connector, part # 118534, once you install that and the extra functions you can just cap off since your trailer doesn't have brakes. There isn't an adapter that elminated the functions but you don't need to connect them. You should still connect the ground wire to a bare metal surface on your van's frame though.
