Replacement Lights and Wiring for Haulmark Enclosed 5 x 8 Utility Trailer
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a 1997-ish Haulmark 5x8 enclosed trailer. I would like to rewire the entire trailer but having difficulty finding the correct lights for the side and wheel well markers. I believe that the Bargman item # 47-84-410 LED replacement is correct for the rear door lights. I also need the wiring harness too. Any ideas?? Thanks.

You can ensure your re-wired Haulmark 5 x 8 enclosed trailer has the legally-required lighting by referring to the linked article that covers DOT trailer lighting requirements. Another good way to proceed is to make sure you have no fewer lights/reflectors than what was installed by the trailer manufacturer. You may well be able to usefully install more lights for enhanced visibility but I do not recommend using any fewer.
Trailer makers do not maintain specs on the smaller items such as individual light assemblies used in production of their trailers since they may choose to alter the item from year to year.
I linked our main page for trailer lights and complete light kits such as the Optronics high-efficiency LED kit # TLL9RK which includes 4-pole wiring. You can review clearance/marker lights and all other light types by clicking on that specific type. We also provide dimensions to help you match up a new light to the mounting point for the original.
