Which of the Brophy tie downs is stronger, the HSSF or the HSAB , or are they equally strong ? Are they considerably stronger than the HSSF ?

The Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Black Powder Coated Steel - Qty 4 # HSSF and the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Black Powder Coated Steel - Qty 4 # HSAB will be equally strong. I reached out to my contact at the manufacturer and they said the tie down strength will be limited by your vehicle and that the only difference between these tie downs is the tab and where it connects. I have not heard of anyone complaining about the stake pocket tie downs #TDSF damaging the truck bed. The same for #HSSF. I find the stake pocket option to be a less invasive installation as well. The process of installing the tie downs would not…

Yes, the #HSAB is angled at the ends making it easier to attach the turnbuckles and keeping the tie-downs further from the truck's fenders. The #HSSF will work just as well but isn't quite as easy to connect.
