Products Featured in This Question
Question:
The signal wire from the right turn signal is disconnect somewhere in the vechicle, so where does the green wire start from in the 2000 ford ranger? I put all new wiring harness on boat trailer and it still does not work.

If your 2000 Ford Ranger has the factory trailer connector then there is a fuse for the trailer right turn and brake light located in the in cab fuse panel in location 7. But if this fuse is blown then the right brake light on the trailer also would not work.
If you have an aftermarket wiring harness such as # 118344 then it ties into the tail light wiring on your Ranger. Otherwise you would have to follow the wiring as far forward as you can and fix any broken or pinched wires.
I have included a link to our help article on testing wiring for you as well.
