The Thule Apex # TH9025XT will work on your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as long you have the factory size spare tire. If you went with larger sized tires there might be a clearance issue between the tire and the bike rack. Therefore, it is important to measure to determine the amount of clearance your vehicle requires.

I have attached a help article that explains how to check your vehicle clearance for a hitch mounted bike rack with a spare tire mounted on the back of the vehicle. The distance between the center pin of the hitch to the upright bar is 12-3/4".

Thule also has the Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway # TH934XTR that has a center pin to upright bar length that 13-1/2". This rack will give you a little more clearance room than # TH9025XT.

If you do not have enough clearance for a hitch mounted bike rack, then you may want to consider a spare tire mount bike rack. We carry many styles of spare mounted bike rack that carry 2 to 3 bikes.

The Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack # TH963PRO can bolt on to your spare and can accommodate many different sized tires with the addtion of an adapter. However, spare mounted bike carriers are limited in the weight capacity. We carry no spare mounted racks that carry more than 3 bikes at one time.

Also, you might want to look at the Thule Bike Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # TH982XT. If you plan to carry bikes that have smaller frams or do not have a standard cross bar, this adapter bar will allow you to secure one of these types of bikes to the racks.
