  • Hitch and Bike Lock Recommendation for Use with Prorack 4 Bike Rack # PR8062404
  • For a hitch and cable lock to use with the Prorack 4 Bike Rack # PR8062404 that you just ordered you would want the part # Y07238. This will lock the rack to your hitch and then will lock your bikes with the cable to the rack itself. I attached a review video for this lock system for you to check out as well.

  • Can Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack Carry Womens Bikes
  • To use a womens bike with the Swagman Trailhead part # S63381 all you need is an adapter bar like part # UB01. This adapter attaches to the seat post and the steering stem of the bike to provide a horizontal attachment point so the bike can be carried level. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well. The Swagman hitch part # S64025 would be a perfect solution for you as it is designed to work with the bike rack you referenced and attach to 4 inch square bumpers.

  • 4 Bike Platform Rack Recommendation that Can Reduce Down to 2 Bikes Easily
  • I have a different bike rack for you to consider, but the part # S64665 would not be easily reduced down to a 2 bike rack. Instead the Thule T2 Classic # TH9044-TH9046 would be your best option. This 4 bike rack can easily be reduced down to a 2 bike rack when needed. Plus it only touches the bikes at the tire so it would not damage any painted surfaces.

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Lexus GX460 For Cargo Area Access
  • My favorite bike rack to recommend is the Thule Vertex Swing part # TH9031XT because it can carry up to 4 bikes and can swing out and away from the rear of the bike to give you complete access to the rear cargo area with bikes loaded. The arms of the rack can also fold down when not in use so that the bike rack doesn't take up much space as well. Check out the review video I attached for more info on this rack as well. • Recommended Bike Rack for Carrying 4 Bikes on a 2005 Honda Odyssey
  • I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR to carry 4 bikes on your 2005 Honda Odyssey. This bike rack is compatible with any 1-1/4" or 2" Hitch and is made from durable aluminum and steel. This bike rack is convenient because it tilts down and away from the hatch when the bikes are not mounted for easy access to the rear. The arms also tilt down for more rear clearance when you are just traveling around town and you do not want to take the bike rack off. If you are carrying...

  • Comparing New Thule T2 Pro and T2 Classic Bike Racks
  • The Thule T2 Pro part # TH9044 is essentially a refined and upgraded version of the T2 Classic part # ETTHT2C-2 which has been around a while and has been a very popular rack for us. The upgrades are mainly focused on the front-mounted HitchSwitch lever which allows a single person to easily tilt and fold the rack and the new AutoAttach system that allows the rack to be secured easily without any tools. The Classic requires a wrench to tighten the hitch pin. You would simply slide...

  • How Far Apart are the Arms of the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack TH9029XT
  • The outside to outside distance on the arms of the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack part # TH9029XT that you referenced measures 13 inches. The diameter of the arms is 1-1/4 inch. An adapter bar like part # UB01 might help you fit the smaller bikes as it attaches to the seat post and steering stem to provide a horizontal top tube for a bike rack. This will give you a wider area to use as well for attachment than the bike frame.

I have a similar solution that would work for you, but the Parkway part # TH956 would not be it since it is for 2 inch hitches. One option is to go with a 3-bike trunk mount carrier, like the Thule Gateway XT3-Bike Rack # TH9007XT. • Can 2 Adult Bikes Be Carried on the Let's Go Aero VeeMe V2 2-Bike Rack
  • The Let's Go Aero VeeMe V2 2-Bike Rack # VME-V2 that you referenced can indeed carry 2 adult bikes. The weight capacity that the bike rack can carry is up to 100 pounds. This means you could carry 2 bikes weighing up to 50 pounds each on the bike rack. The VeeMe V2 will fit bikes with wheelbases between 22 inches and 50 inches. As long as both of your adult bikes fall within this wheel base range, and the weight of the 2 bikes together isn't more than 100 pounds, the VeeMe V2 rack will...

  • Fit of Yakima Doubledown Hitch Rack Y02424 on 2006 Honda CR-V
  • Its easy to measure the clearance required for a hitch rack like the Yakima DoubleDown # Y02424 to fit well on your CR-V that has a rear-mounted spare tire. The linked article details the process. Simply measure from your hitch pin hole back to the rear-facing surface of the tire. When we installed Curt hitch # 13535 on a 2006 CR-V we found that this dimension was 8-1/2-inches. This means you need a bike rack with at least 1-inch more clearance than this for it to remain free from interference...

This isn't that far at all and most bike racks will clear the back of the van with room to spare.
