Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota 4Runner

Today in our 2016 Toyota Four Runner we're doing a test fit of the Yakima Hold-up Platform Style Two Bike Rack. That part number is Y02443. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. We're going to come to the back here and lift up slightly, and we'll be able to pull on our red pin and tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle, with our bikes fully loaded. Now unfortunately, with how long our door is and how close our bike rack is to our vehicle, we're not going to have full access into our back hatch area, but we will have a good amount of access where if we had somebody else hold the door, we can still get stuff in and out if we need to. We'll close that up. Then to put our bike rack back into place, we'll simply lift up until it clicks. As for how our bike rack is secured down here at the back we have a rack string strap, we're just going to pull up on the red button, and then it actually wraps it down using the black portion here. We'll release that just like so. Then at the front we have a wheel hook, which sits either in front of our brakes or in front of our frame, depending on how our bike is made.
