Wiring Diagram For A Dometic WH6GA Water Heater

Updated 09/10/2024 | Published 10/03/2022

Question:

I am replacing a manual pilot gas only water heater with the WH6GA gas only automatic pilot water heater? How would that be wired. There is no previous wiring as it was manual light.

I went ahead and hunted down a wiring diagram for the WH6GA water heater, and was able to find a diagram (attached below).

This tank has a 10K Btu heating capacity, a 6 gal tank, measures 12-3/4"H x 12-3/4"W x 19-7/8"D, and is a direct replacement for the 96202, 96110, 96202SU, 96220, 96220SU, 96228SU, 96121, 96270, 96136, & 96270SU.

@Curtis Curtis, we actually don't carry the wiring harness for the Dometic WH6GA Water Heater, unfortunately.

That may be a wiring diagram for a WH6GAE, but it not a wiring diagram for a WH6GA. The WH6GA is a gas only water heater, no electric except the 12vdc.

@Richard The diagram above was in the instructions for the WH-6GA water heater, so I assumed that was the correct diagram.
