Question:

I’m not sure how I connect the break monitoring system for the Roadmaster 8700 InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System. I have a 2020 Jeep gladiator and I installed the Blue Ox BX88368 EZ Light Wiring Kit for the Jeep Gladiator, now I’m ready to install the 8700 system. If I remember I read somewhere not to cut into the jeeps brake switch wires. Do I need an optional brake ligh t switch and if so what is the part number for the switch and bracket. Thanks

In order to install the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator you'll need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751497. This kit allows you to obtain the brake light needed for the monitor on the InvisiBrake without splicing into the Jeep. You can't splice into the Jeep for this as the Jeep does not send the correct signal when needed for the system to work properly so this is a requirement for this system on this vehicle.
