Roof Cargo Solution for a Van With a 60 Inch Crossbar Spread

My van has a fairly permanent rack with a 58 inch crossbar spread. Are there any rooftop boxes from any company that will fit that?

I have a solution for you, however there isn't a cargo box available that will meet those crossbar spreads.
Instead, I recommend the Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Basket with Extension, part # Y07080-82. This can accommodate your 58-60 inch spread that your semi-permanent rack has.
Additionally, the MegaWarrior has a movable crossbar inside the basket that allows you to use round-bar compatible accessories that are compatible with 41 inch crossbar spread and this can be broken up by using this moveable crossbar to adjust to a wide range of accessories.
This can let you use a cargo box or any other accessory on your roof that you normally wouldn't be able to use because of the crossbar spread.
If you want a simpler option, you can use a rooftop cargo bag, This will have less flexibility and capacity, however lets you skip having to load into the already higher basket. I recommend the RightlIne Gear Sport 3 XL, part # RL100S30. This bag is able to be mounted through the vehicle or to the vehcle's raised side rails, or roof rack using its straps. It has an 18 cubic foot capacity and features in-the-flap zippers for added water protection, plus UV resistant outer lining to prevent fading.
The Rightline Sport can be combined with the Yakima MegaWarrior for added protection of your gear, or used on its own.
