Will the Access TonnoSport Roll Up Tonneau # A22020209 fit 2000 GMC Sierra with 6-1/2 foot Stepside

Question:

Hello, I know that the picture and video shown for this product is on a normal bedside panel. Since I have a step side and your website show this product to fit my truck, I would like to ask you if the harware is screwed on to the inner side of the bed since it is flat sided and there is no where to use those aluminum clamps shown on the video to hold the mounting rails for the cover. Also with this kit would I have to remove the upper bed side rail trims for installation.

The Access TonnoSport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A22020209 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your 2000 GMC Sierra with a 6-1/2 foot stepside bed.

I checked the installation instructions and they indicate that on some models you will have to screw or bolt the side rails of the cover hardware to the bed of your truck. Your truck would be one of those models that would require that. You also would be able to keep your bed rail caps as well since this cover mounts to the inside of the bed rails and not on top.
