Have bought the #07600 extension. There are no instructions in the box. Would appeciate some advice.

The Erickson Big Bed Load Extender # EM07600 offers a great mix of features that enable it to serve many cargo-assist purposes in a range of vehicles from pickups to SUVs.
Please take a look at the linked video. This shows the various design features, which include adjustable height and folding capability, and also illustrates the operation of the extender.
Note that a pin (or locking hitch pin) is required to secure the extender in your hitch. You can use a simple pin and clip # PC3 or an anti-rattle lock such as # 63232.
