Question:
I have the hidden hitch you mentioned works well with the outback and this rack. In your product specifications, it says it is 6inch to closest part of the rack to the pin hole when folded. I measured 6.25inch on my car. Will this rack be able to be folded?

I have a better solution for you. The Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 has a distance of 8 inches from the pin hole to the nearest portion of the rack which would be more than enough to clear on your vehicle. Check out the review video I attached.
The # TH990XT wouldn't have enough clearance to fold on your vehicle since it has a distance of 6 inches from the pin hole to the rack when folded.
