Can Lubrimatic Red Grease be Used for Trailer Wheel Bearings

altough i dont see the term wheel bearings in the ad, i am thinking the this product is good for wheel bearings on my utility trailer ... dexter axle for 2000 lb loads ...

You can use the red grease # L11390 for trailer wheel bearings if you wanted. You can also use wheel bearing grease # L11465 which is designed for use on trailer running gear, including wheel bearings. It also has a slightly higher temperature rating, 520 degrees, compared to 510 degrees for the red grease.

When adding new grease you will need to make sure that the new grease is compatible with the old grease or remove the old grease completely. Incompatible greases can break each other down. I have included a link to the right to our help article on greases that should help.
