We have put together a kit that includes all the parts you will need to set up the rear wiring for a 7-Way and prepare the truck to install a brake controller. The kit is part # ETBC7. It will utilize the 4-Way that is already installed and then you will run the included length of 2-Wire up to the front to connect to the brake controller and the the battery for 12V power using the blue and black leads. The purple lead is for reverse lights, if needed, and the white is for ground.
I have included a link to a video showing this kit being installed for a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller on a 1993 Suburban. It should be pretty helpful and will show you the whole wiring process. The Tekonsha P-3 is part # 90195 and I have a link to it below.
