What Are The Demco Coupler DM14040-81 Dimensions?

Question:

I am doing a prototype design. Do you have any dimensions available for the DM14040-81 as far as width at the attachment holes. Placement of holes and overall length? We are a dealer for E-Trailer

Hi Ken!

I have a diagram of the Demco Trailer Coupler - Cast - Adjustable Channel - eZ-Latch - Black - 2-5/16" Ball - 21K # DM14040-81 attached that shows what I think you are asking for. But to answer your questions, this measures 2-7/8" wide at the mounting area (fits a 3" channel), 8-1/8" for the overall length, and the mounting holes measure exactly 2" apart on center. If there is more you need (or if I misinterpreted what you asked), just let me know! ^___^

The trailer coupler works great always able to flip up and unhook never sticks like the other kind, I bought two couplers both work great also you can hook up to ball without having the top part up will hook up and lock itself just lower on to ball and done deal and install safety pin thanks
