Can The Front Mount EcoHitch EH37FR Carry A 360 Pound Motorcycle On The Front Of A 2024 Ram 3500?

I have this installed on my Ram. Will it support a motorcycle carrier that total weight is around 360lbs?

Hi David!

The EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH37FR you have installed on your 2024 Ram 3500 has a maximum vertical load capacity (also called tongue weight capacity) of 1,000 pounds. I couldn't find anywhere saying what the frame of your truck can handle on the front, but I did include a picture for you to check out.

That is a Kawasaki KLR650 on the front of a Ram 2500 with this hitch installed (not sure which carrier was used). This bike weighs anywhere from 401 to 487 pounds (depending on the year and how it was outfitted) and then you can add probably another 50 or 60 pounds for the carrier. What I am trying to say is that you will not have any issues carrying a 360 pound motorcycle on the front of your truck. ^___^

What kind of bike are you wanting to carry? And do you already have a carrier? We do have a couple if you don't yet.

It's a KLX300 that weighs about 300 and the rack is about 55. Going off the 1000lb vertical weight, I figured it was probably good.

@DavidG Cool bike! I was actually looking at these a while back (as well as a Yamaha TW200 and a Suzuki VanVan) for a play around trail bike. Where do you typically take it out?
