Question:
Will the Furrion Chill Cube work in a 2021 Pleasure Way Promaster Class B camper van?

Hi Tim,
Yes, the Furrion Chill Cube 18K part # FR59TD can be installed on a 2021 Pleasure-Way ProMaster Class B camper van, as long as the roof has a compatible 14" x 14" opening, can support the unit's weight, and has enough clearance for installation. The bigger things to consider with a Class B van are the roof structure and how you plan to power the air conditioner.
The Furrion Chill Cube runs on 115V AC power and has a variable-speed compressor that helps reduce startup power demands. If you want to run it off your house batteries, you'll need a compatible inverter and enough battery capacity. Since Pleasure-Way vans have different electrical setups, we'd want to confirm your specific system can handle it.
If you're looking for something specifically designed for van conversions, I'd also recommend taking a look at the Velit 2000R part # VE87QV. It is an 8,000-BTU air conditioner that runs directly off a 12V DC power system, so you wouldn't need a separate inverter to operate it. We actually have a team member who installed one in his own conversion van and has been really happy with it.
Are you hoping to run the air conditioner off your house batteries or primarily when you're plugged into shore power?
