Hello Jude,

Thanks for writing in.

For your 2026 Puma 304BHCE, I recommend using the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # C56190KIT. This is a nice option because it gives you the powered converter along with the wiring and hardware needed for the installation.

You will splice the converter into the Puma's running light, left turn/brake, and right turn/brake circuits near the rear of the camper. I recommend using the Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to test the wires by function rather than going by wire color.

The nice thing about # C56190KIT is that the camper's lighting circuits are used to trigger the converter, while the converter has a separate 12V power connection to power the lights on the second trailer. This keeps the additional lighting load off the Puma's tail light circuits.

This will give you running lights, brake lights, and turn signals through the new 4-way. Just keep in mind that a 4-way does not provide an electric brake output, so if the second trailer has electric brakes, we will need to set that up differently.

What are you planning on towing behind your Puma?

@JudeS Fun toy to zip around on for sure! We have this guy on our team that actually has his own little side business fixing up golf carts and selling them.
