I am looking to get an electric jack for a 1999 27 Fleet Mallard and wondering what my best option is?

We have some great options for adding an electric jack to your 1999 Fleetwood Mallard! The one I recommend first and foremost is the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 5,000 lbs # e55ZV. This is a very capable jack that will require you to hardwire it to the batteries on your trailer, but it's a pretty easy thing to do. It also has plenty of lifting capacity for your camper and will give you a total of 22-12" with the jack fully extended with the drop leg down (the drop leg adds another 4-1/2" to the typical 18" lift).
If you wanted an easier option to install, check out the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 5,000 lbs # e74GV. This plugs right into a 7-Way on the towing vehicle, making it a super easy install. However, there have been some issues with this jack working with 2020 and newer Ford trucks and Chevy trucks. If you have one of these, go with the hardwired option.
Oh and both of these jacks use the standard 3" on center mounting pattern pretty much all jacks use, so that will not be a problem at all. Both also include manual cranks in case you ever need it.

I'm with the other David. It's slow... But much quieter than my other jack. Plus it's is strong enough to raise the trailer and truck so I can put on my equalizer bars as well. It's a good value!

Down side: it’s slow Upside: It’s been a year and half. Reliable, strong enough to raise both trailer tongue while hooked to the truck so I can easily put on the weight distribution bars. I would buy this jack again.
