Can TowSmart 7-Blade Trailer Connector Replace 5-Way On Boat Trailer

I would like to know if I can use this connector to replace an old 5 pin flat connector on my boat trailer. I would like to use a junction box to connect the old trailer wires from the 5 pin flat to this connector which would then connect to the 7 blade receptacle on my 2021 ram 1500. Trailer is a 2021 coyote trailer. Thank you.

Hey Patrick! Yes, you can use the TowSmart 7-Blade Trailer Connector # TS74RR to replace the 5-way on your boat trailer. Then for a junction box you can use the # e99009. Match up the wiring by function and then cap off whatever you aren't using like the brake output and 12V wire.
