How to Connect a 4-Way Light Kit to a 7-Way Trailer Connector

Updated 09/10/2026 | Published 09/03/2026

Question:

Looking at the Light Kit e67RV to add onto the Benton MoveHitch Cargo Carrier B86VR. My vehicle 2026 Honda Passport TSE has a 7 pin trailer connection. What 4-pin to 7-pin adaptor fits the e67RV light kit?

Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. Since your 2026 Honda Passport has the factory 7-way, the Pollak 7-Pole to 4-Way Adapter # PK12716 is exactly what you need to connect the # e67RV light kit. It plugs directly into the Passport’s 7-way and gives you the standard 4-flat connection used by the light kit.

There is no splicing or additional wiring involved. Just plug the # PK12716 into the vehicle, plug the # e67RV into the adapter, and you’ll have the running light, brake light, and turn signal functions for the Benton MoveHitch carrier.

What are you planning to carry on the Benton, camping gear, coolers, or something else?

I bought this to add a Kuat bike rack with lights to my Tesla Y and it works great.

This is the 4pin to 7pin adapter that I bought to use on my 2025 Honda Ridgeline that only has a 7pin trailer wiring plug. Works like a champ..

I'd like to echo Bob B.'s comment. We also have a 2025 Ridgeline and needed the 7-4 adaptor. Super easy to use and works with no muss or fuss. We use it for a light utility trailer when we need to haul our riding mowers to the repair shop. Good luck!
