Replacement Fenders for a Malone EcoLight 1 Kayak Trailer with 4.80-2 Tires

Question:

I have the Malone MPG586XB EcoLight 1 Kayak Trailer. I am looking for replacement fenders since I change my wheels and tires from a 4.80-8 to a 4.80-12. Looking to see what you have available as afar as replacement fenders or gender risers Thank you Mike

Hi, great question! Since you upgraded your Malone part # MAL73FR EcoLight 1 Kayak Trailer from 4.80-8 tires to 4.80 12 tires, you need the Aluminum Diamond Plate Fender for Malone MicroSport and MicroSportXT Trailers, part # MPG602. This fender is designed for Malone trailers that use the larger 4.80-12 tire size, so it will provide the additional clearance you need for your new tires. You would also need mounting brackets, part # PF775-BKT-2, to install the fenders.

I do want to mention that the # MPG602 fenders are not specifically designed as a direct replacement for the EcoLight trailer, so some modification will likely be needed during installation, including drilling mounting holes. I have attached the fender dimensions below so you can compare them with your trailer and get a better idea of how they will fit.
