Hi Len!

The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer for a Heavy Kayak - 7' Bunks - 400 lbs # MAL73FR can definitely be used to carry your 12.5 foot long Native Water Craft Titan. This can handle up to 400 pounds and can also handle a boat that is up to 14 feet long (though I have had people use it with 16' kayaks and were perfectly fine). It looks like your kayak weighs 172 pounds (fully rigged), so this will absolutely handle every aspect of your kayak!

A 2025 Chevy Silverado will also have absolutely no problem hauling this. It has a 4-Flat plug on it as it only has lights, but they are LED lights so you will want to make sure they are working the first time you plug it in. Some GM trucks are having issues with LED lights as of late due to them not drawing enough power for trucks to think a trailer is attached. If that ends up being the case with your truck, you will want to grab something like the Curt 7-Way to 4-Way/5-Way Trailer Adapter for Vehicles with Lamp-Out Sensors # C35FR. It basically tricks your truck into thinking a trailer is attached.

Where do you typically take your kayak out? And what are you typically trying to catch?

With ease Len. I’ve got a 10.5 footer that weighs about 130lbs all loaded up and I have feet and room to spare. Your Silverado will haul your boat, my boat, and probably a couple more! You can’t go wrong with Malone!
