Question:

I need new double lip bearing seals for my boat trailer. The straight spindle is 1 1/16 inch diameter, except where the seal rides, which is 1 1/4 inch. The hub bore is 1.99 inch. What seals do you have for me?

Based on the measurements you provided, the Grease Seal # 34823 should be the correct fit for your boat trailer hub. This is a double-lip seal with a 1.249" inner diameter and a 1.983" outer diameter, which matches up very closely with your 1-1/4" seal surface and 1.99" hub bore.

The # 10-9 seal that you're looking at would not be correct since it has a 1.500" inner diameter, so it would be too large for your spindle.

If you need a pair, you can also use the Grease Seal Set # RG06-010, which includes two of the # 34823 seals.

Do you happen to have a part number stamped on the old seal that we can use to verify the fit?
