Hello Daryl,
Thanks for writing in!
The AL-KO 10" x 1-3/4" brake assemblies you have are an older design that has been discontinued, so you won't be able to replace them with another complete 10" x 1-3/4" assembly.
The good news is you can upgrade to the 10" x 2-1/4" etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA, which includes both the driver and passenger side self-adjusting brake assemblies. Since the new brakes are wider, you will also need to replace the existing hub and drums with ones designed for the 10" x 2-1/4" brakes.
If your current hubs use an L68149 inner bearing, L44649 outer bearing, and have a 5 on 4-1/2" wheel bolt pattern, you can use the pre-greased Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K. You will need one hub and drum for each brake assembly you replace.
Before ordering, I would double-check those bearing numbers and your wheel bolt pattern. If they match, you will have everything you need to make the switch.
