Hey Adam, congratulations on the new Canyon! I can definitely help you get everything together. For a complete flat tow setup on your 2027 GMC Canyon I recommend the following:

-Curt Custom Base Plate Kit # C29DQ

-Curt Rambler Non-Binding Tow Bar # C25DQ (includes safety cables)

-Curt Tow Bar Cover - Rambler # C56VV (optional)

-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit # RM-15267

-Roadmaster Battery Disconnect # RM-766

-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25

-Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System # BLU37TR

-Blue Ox 12 Volt Power Outlet Kit # BLU33QV

The Curt Rambler # C25DQ is a great match for the Curt base plates. It has a 7,500 lb capacity, non-binding arms that make it easier to unhook on uneven ground, and the safety cables are already included.

You'll also want to measure the height of the base plate against the receiver on your motorhome once everything is installed. If the tow bar isn't within 3" of level you'll need a high-low adapter like # e52ZV to level it out. I attached an article further down on this page which explains how to measure.

Thanks! Looks good. Do you have those mud flaps to keep rocks from flying up as well? I would like to add those to this setup.

@AdamW you're welcome! Yes, you're talking about the Rock Tamers # ERT00108 which will install around the shank of the tow bar. They also have the # RT67VR with the rock screen for better coverage and protection. If you need anything else don't hesitate to reach out!
