Recommended Timken Bearing Kit for a Tiedown 3,700 lbs Axle

Im wanting to replace the bearings on my Coyote Boat trailer. it has two 3700lbs Tiedown Engineering axles. I do have some part numbers. such as seal 171255UC, Inner bearing L68149 and I believe the outer bearing is L44649? not 100 sure about the 6 and 9 for the outer bearing. any help that you can give to help me get the right kits is greatly appreciated!

Hey Aaron, thanks for the information! For a replacement bearing kit, I recommend the Timken item # TMK52VR. It includes inner and outer bearings and races, seal, cotter pin, and spindle washer. This kit is sold per hub so you'll need two.
Your 171255UC is the item # RG06-050, and the item # L44649 is commonly found with it and the item # L68149 you also have on 3,500 lbs axles. So I'm pretty confident you read the 6 and 9 on the item # L44649 bearing correctly.

I would definitely go with the Timken bearings and races, high quality compared to other Chinese made parts. They cost a bit more, but will last longer if properly serviced. Brent
