Will The Lippert Quick Drop RV Stabilizer Jack LC68DK Fit A Jayco 27 RSDL?

Published 08/04/2026

Question:

Looking at the lippert stabilizer bars that are made to use a drill motor to lower jacks. I have a Jayco 27 DSRL and has sissor jacks on it currently. The 27 DSRL is more than 23” above ground, will this product work on the 27 RSDL?

Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out. The Lippert Quick Drop Stabilizers # LC68DKare a great upgrade, and the fact that your trailer sits more than 23 inches off the ground isn't a problem. The Quick Drop design is made for exactly that situation. Instead of cranking the legs all the way down like a traditional scissor jack, you pull the release, drop the inner leg close to the ground, let it lock into place, and then use a drill or ratchet to snug it up. That gives you much more usable reach than a standard scissor jack without spending forever cranking.

The bigger thing to verify is the mounting space, not the ground clearance. The # LC68DK mounts differently than traditional scissor jacks, so you'll want to make sure you have enough room across the frame rails for the stabilizer assembly and mounting brackets. The kit includes brackets that can fit most any frame between 49-5/8" and 76" wide so as long as your camper falls within that range you will be good to go.

Where do you usually camp with your Jayco? Paved pads, gravel, or off-grid spots?
