Question:

Hi, we have a 2016 Honda HRV, to which we added a Drawtite hitch receiver, 1.25. We need a 2 bike rack bikes are 20 lbs and 38 lbs. We currently have a Thule that some friends gave us but it is way to heavy for us to manage. We need something that we can more easily get on and off the vehicle, under 40 lbs preferably. What would you reccommend? Thank you.

Hey Michelle! The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HR200Z you looked at is the best option that fits your requirements. This bike rack fits a 1-1/4" receiver, has a capacity of 45 lbs per bike, and weighs 36.25 lbs.

If you want something a little lighter, or have bikes with a step through design, the Thule OutPace # TH39SA is another good option. This weighs 29 lbs and can handle bikes up to 55 lbs. It also folds up nicely for carrying and storage. The only downside is the higher price tag.
