Will My Old Voyager Wires Work for Installing the RV Backup Camera System - 2 Cameras # VGR95VR?

I have an original Voyager 3 camera CRT camera system VOM-783-T on my motorhome. Do they make a replacement system I can use the original hard wires or do I need to run all new wiring? thank you

Thanks for writing in!

Since you're looking to replace the entire older Voyager VOM-783T system, you will need to run the new wiring that comes with the RV Backup Camera System # VGR95VR. Your original system uses older connections that aren't compatible with the new system, so you won't be able to simply plug the new cameras and monitor into the existing cables.

Here's a little trick that can make the installation much easier. Before pulling the old wiring out, securely tape the new wire to the end of the old one. As you pull the old wire through the motorhome, it can help pull the new wire into place at the same time. Just make sure the connection is secure and kept as slim and smooth as possible so it doesn't get hung up along the way.

Did your old system quit working, or just looking to upgrade for the better screen?

Hi Kate Thank you for looking into this. I was just hoping the old wires could be used but yes, I could pull new ones. Believe it or not the old system works just fine, but a color camera system would be ideal. thanks again
