Hey Robert, welcome back! The Curt Echo Under-Dash Bluetooth Brake Controller item # C47YV would be the correct one for your 2019 GMC Canyon. It comes with a universal wiring harness that will allow you to complete the installation. I have no idea why our website says this doesn't fit but I'll be sending in a request to fix that. We've had a few customers install the item # C47YV controller and harness on Canyon's/Colorado's with zero issues. It's a great controller and you don't have to worry about it being exposed to the elements like other Bluetooth options.

Your 2019 GMC Canyon does not come with a custom fit plug for an aftermarket brake controller but GM did run the wires you need. They'll be located to the left of your e-brake pedal. You'll want to pop off the piece of trim that runs below your door to access them.

Item works great. Get the adapter from the auto manufacturer and check the wire diagram. I matched my color and blue a fuse in my rv when I matched colors instead of descriptions in wire diagram
