Does etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar Require Modification or Drilling for Installation

Question:

Before I pull the trigger on one of these, I just wanted to make sure I'm not drilling into my receiver or making any permanent changes. I'd like something I can remove later if I ever sell the truck.

Hey Steve! No worries there. Our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e55YV slides on over the face of the receiver and clamps on using the included hardware. There's no drilling, welding, or permanent modifications required. If you ever decide to remove it, it comes right back off. I attached a picture from our 2" version below which shows how it works for your reference

What are you planning to use it with most, a ball mount or another hitch-mounted accessory?
