Hey JP! For an anti-rattle hitch collar that fits a 2-1/2" hitch, I recommend our etrailer item # e55YV. I know it's been a few months since we last spoke but we finally have them in and you're the first person I'm reaching back out to.
Our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV has the same reliability and stabilizing features as our original 2" hitch collar item # e38FV. It's going to firmly attach to the lip of your truck's 2-1/2" receiver and prevent any movement of your ball mount's shank.
An added perk that's included with our 2-1/2" etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV is the reducer sleeve. If you're using an accessory or ball mount with a 2" shank and want the same solid stable grip you'll be able to use the included reducer along with the anti-rattle collar.
Please note that If you are using our etrailer item # e55YV with a 2" accessory it needs to be installed right side up. It will not function properly if you install it sideways with the reducer.
