Hi Steven,

That's a great question. Since your 2026 Chevy doesn't have a traditional 12 volt cigarette style outlet, the easiest solution is to add one. The Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit, Part # RM-9332, gives you a dedicated 12 volt power outlet for the Furrion Vision S+ monitor like what is included with part # FOS05TASF so you can plug it in just like it was designed to be used. It's a clean, reliable setup and ensures the monitor has steady power whenever you need it.

If you're looking for the simplest plug and play option, this is the route I'd recommend. It keeps the installation straightforward and avoids having to modify the monitor's power cord.

Out of curiosity, what are you towing with your 2026 Chevy, a travel trailer, a fifth wheel, or a boat?

I pull 19 ft Jayco trailer. about 4500lbs. Local camper store has a USB to cigarette plug connector. The item you have appears to require attaching to a "fuse splitter" (probably the wrong name). It also appears that I would have to purchase, directly from Furrion, a special adapter to power the camera. I have been told that new Chevy's send pulse and this is not enough to power camera system. Another $80 add-on. This is getting more complicated than I first thought. not sure what to do at this moment.

@StevenK Yes, the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit, Part # RM-9332, does come with a fuse tap, so you'll have everything you need to tap into a 12 volt power source. You won't need to pick up anything extra for that part. You are also correct that you'll need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter, Part # FR87PR. The reason is that the Furion camera gets its power from the trailer's running light circuit, and on many GM trucks that circuit doesn't provide enough power by itself to keep the camera operating reliably. The adapter solves that by pulling additional power from the truck's 12 volt accessory circuit, so the camera gets a steady power supply. One quick question for you. Is your Jayco already prewired for the Furion Vision S camera system from the factory, or are you installing the camera and wiring from scratch?
