Hey Joe, welcome back! The Furrion Chill Cube Variable Speed RV AC Unit part # FR59TD that you referenced would be an excellent choice for exactly what you are looking for. This is a super quiet variable speed unit that doesn't draw nearly as much as what you have now and I think you'll really like it. Does your travel trailer have a single or dual AC setup? Are you wanting it to be quieter so that you can sleep a bit easier without it waking you up?

Just returned from first trip with chill cube. Four days at 95-100 degrees. Partially shaded, unit kept rv at 70 degrees til later in afternoon, but only got up to 74 degrees then. Very quiet, probably half as loud as old coleman 13.5. Remote was disappointing as had to get remote close to a/c to work. Overall, good unit and happy i purchased it.
