Please tell me the Curt part number for a Quick Plug Harness that will connect a Curt brake controller 51146 to my 2020 Buick Enclave that has factory installed trailering package.

Hey William, thanks for reaching out. You can use the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV (51146) in your 2020 Buick Enclave, but Curt doesn't offer a custom pigtail for that vehicle. You can still install the controller, but it will mean hardwiring in a new plug.

What you'll need to do is cut off the factory brake control plug and wire in the Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers # C51515. That'll allow for plug-in installation of the Curt brake controller. That way you can unplug and remove the controller if needed.

What kind of trailer will you be hauling?

Curt Mfg. has recommended a universal harness #51531 which has some a few more features than #51515. I'm uncertain which is the best for my 2020 Buick Enclave. Could you provide some clarification? My cell phone number is 952-807-2552.

@WilliamC Both will work. The 51531 comes with the same pigtail as the 51515, only the 51531 includes four quick-splice connectors and zip ties for securing the wire. That said, the 51531 isn't something we carry here, so the # C51515 is what I recommend. You'll just need to grab a few heat-shrink butt connectors, and you'll be good to go. I don't really trust those quick-splice connectors anyways.
