Question:
Hello, I’m looking to replace my 1996 Casita tail lights, I’ve been searching on your site and can’t seem to find the correct size lights that would match the mounting holes. Here are the dimensions, housing light L 8 9/16” x W 4 5/8“ and mounting holes 7 1/4” x 3 1/4“. Thanks in advance!

Hey Lisa, thanks for the information! To replace your 1996 Casita tail lights, I recommend the RV Designer Rectangular Incandescent License Light w/ Bracket item # RD53RR. This light is sold individually and measures 8-9/16" long x 4-5/8" wide. The mounting holes are spaced 7-1/16" apart horizontally and 2-1/2" vertically.
I don't have another option that matches your mounting hole spacing so you will need to drill new mounting holes. The good news is the new lights will completely cover up your old mounting holes.
The RV Designer Light item # RD53RR comes with a license plate bracket installed. You can remove it with a utility knife or Dremel tool.
Are you trying to keep your Casita's traditional look with replacement lights?

Hi Jerred! Thanks for the response! I’m not necessarily trying to keep the traditional look of the Casita and am happy to upgrade to a different LED light. Is there another one that you might recommend? Potentially one that could fit the existing mounting holes?
