Can you find me the front and rear latches for the Sears X-Cargo Model 28-7271 roof top carrier? I am also looking for replacement keys for the lock which has the number 2862 on it. thanks

The correct replacement key for your Sears X-Cargo box is part # THKEYN2862. For a replacement latch, we know the Replacement Latch, # 03347, will fit the newer models of the X-Cargo boxes that used the plastic latches, but we do not have exact replacements for the older boxes that used the metal latches. The Replacement Latch, # 03347, may work on the older models, but you may have to relocate the latch and drill new mounting holes for it to fit properly.
