What Is the Exact Width of the Thomas Payne Hernandez Seal Tri Fold RV Sleeper?

Question:
The Thomas Payne Hernandez Seal tri fold sofa sleeper says it’s 67” wide. Is that the actual width? Another site stated it was 66.5”. I have a 2017 Forester 3011DS and need to replace my old couch and the measurement is pretty tight.

Hi Tim,
I completely understand wanting to double check the dimensions before ordering, especially when you only have a little room to spare. The Thomas Payne Hernandez Seal Tri Fold RV Loveseat and Sleeper, part # LC22PX, measures 67 inches wide from the outside of one arm to the outside of the other. It measures 70 inches long when it's opened into the sleeper position.
The 66.5 inch measurement you've seen elsewhere may have been taken by someone measuring the upholstered portion instead of the widest outside points, or it may simply be a rounding difference. The manufacturer's specified overall width is 67 inches, and that's the dimension I'd use when checking whether it will fit your space.
Out of curiosity, how do you use that lounge area the most? Is it mostly for movie nights, hosting guests, or is it the favorite spot for your pets?
