Hello Zachary,
Thanks for writing in!
Yes, the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17499 will be a great choice for your Coleman 17B.
Although the trailer has a dry tongue weight of about 400 pounds, weight distribution systems should be matched to the trailer's loaded tongue weight, not its dry weight. A good rule of thumb is that a properly loaded travel trailer will have a tongue weight that's about 10 to 15 percent of its total loaded weight.
Your Coleman 17B has a GVWR of 4,300 pounds, so when it's loaded for camping, you can expect the tongue weight to fall in the 430 to 645 pound range. That puts it right in the operating range of the Curt TruTrack # C17499. It also includes integrated sway control, which will help provide a more stable towing experience with your Ridgeline, especially when you're traveling in crosswinds or passing larger vehicles. Just make sure your battery, propane tank, and front platform are installed so they don't interfere with the spring bars during turns.
You'll also need a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball like the Curt Hitch Ball # C40030 to complete the installation. Once everything is loaded for camping, it's also a good idea to verify that your loaded tongue weight and your Ridgeline's payload remain within Honda's ratings.
