Need Adapter For Kodiak 225 Caliper And 3/16" MIF Brake Line

Question:

Hi I currently have a utility trailer that uses TDE 46034 ithink I want to switch to kodiak 225 The thing is my brake line are 3/16 mif the kodiak is a 1/8-27 female npt , do sell an adapter to connect the two?

Hey Allen, thanks for reaching out. If your current TDE 46034 calipers use 3/16" hard brake lines, then yes, you can adapt them to the Kodiak 225 calipers with their 1/8"-27 NPT female port.

What you'll need is a 1/8"-27 NPT male to 3/16" inverted flare adapter. The NPT side threads into the Kodiak caliper, and your existing 3/16" brake line threads into the inverted flare side of the adapter. That lets you reuse your existing hard lines without having to re-plumb the trailer.

Here is what you'll need:

- Replacement Adapter Port for Kodiak Disc Brake Calipers and Solenoid Valves # K22590A

Thank you Jesse My trailer has tandem axles so I have 4 calipers that mount on top of the rotor. How do I connect the front caliper to rear caliper, currently the tde 46304 Connects from one bleeder using a square banjo fitting to the next

Jesse , can you help me, I have a tandem axle trailer with hydraulic disk brakes, I am currently using TDE 46304 calipers, im want to switch to kodiak 225 calipers. I have 4 calipers that I need to connect. How do I do this, what do I need? Currently im using 3/16 mif brake lines The kodiak uses 1/8 npt Im using a hard 3/16 copper nickel 3/16 inverted flare hard line for my main line Coming from the actuator

@AllenD Hey Allen. You'll need four of those # K22590A adapters I mentioned above. Your existing 3/16" hard line can stay in place as long as it's in good condition. The adapter simply threads into the Kodiak caliper, and your existing 3/16" inverted flare brake line threads into the other side of the adapter. You won't need to change the actuator, main hard line, or the line size just because you're switching to the Kodiak 225 calipers. Brake line kits for tandem axle setups use a tee fitting for connecting multiple lines. Your trailer should already be equipped with one of these though.
