Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this DeeMaxx, two and a half foot long, one eighth inch diameter, braided hydraulic brake hose with the stainless three sixteenths of an inch male inverted flare fittings. Now this brake line will connect to your hydraulic brake actuator to your trailer brakes when it's used with additional lines and fittings that we do sell separately on our website. As you can see, this is a nice flexible design, makes the hose perfect for use with foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes and torsion axles. And what's nice on the ends of this thing you use stainless steel male three sixteenth inch inverted flare fittings on both ends. This will resist for corrosion.
They're stronger than brass to help reduce splitting and these are ideal for both trailers. Also, what's nice is the hose itself is a braided stainless steel hose, has a nice Teflon core to it. This will withstand pressure better than the rubber, so your brakes are more responsive. It responds better to different temperatures than rubber, which can expand due to heat. And it's less likely to get punctured from any debris.
The stainless steel hose does meet the DOT Department of Transportation standards. Again, the hose length on this, 30 inches long, inner diameter an eighth of an inch, and the fitting size on both ends is three sixteenths of an inch. But that should do it for the review on this DeeMaxx two and a half foot long, one eighth inch diameter, braided hydraulic brake hose with the stainless male inverted flare fittings.
