Hey Margaret. The brackets of the Replacement Leg Kit for etrailer RV Dinette Tables item # e79RR are made of metal not plastic. The bracket base measures 6-5/16" in diameter by 2-1/4" tall. The leg itself is 28-1/2" tall overall with the mounting brackets.
