Question:

we have a 2026 keystone montana high country 295RL 5th wheel. It is wired for a camera and is supposed to be compatible with the Furion Vision S+. The camper is wired but does not have the mounting bracket for the camera, only wires. Does the camera come with the parts to complete the install

Hi Robert,

The Furrion S+ Wireless Camera System part # FR57AD has the mounting bracket already connected to the camera so you can easily mount it to your fifth wheel. I've attached a photo of the camera from the side where you can see the mounting bracket fit onto the camera. It's also shown in our demo review video of the Furrion S+ wireless system at 25 seconds. This kit does include four screws to install the camera, but you may need additional screws, sealant, and insulation tape to complete the installation.

Do you plan on adding additional camera to the Furrion S+ system?

Kit comes with everything you need except connectors for the wires. I used crimp on connectors and heat shrink. You will also need to caulk the top of the camera bracket to the trailer after install.

@BrianC Thank you for the tip, Brian! We'll have to add butt connectors to our list of what other parts will be needed for installation.

My 2024 Arctic Fox 992 came with a Furrion S camera already installed, but I bought it 2nd hand (consignment at a dealer) and didn't get the monitor. I elected to replace everything, but it came with the same camera mounts as my original; so, the short answer is that it appears to come with everything you need. It installed easily and worked right away. My only complaint is that the screen intermittently shuts off for a few seconds when driving directly into the sun for a long duration. My guess is that it is overheating and cools itself by shutting off.

@Brett The Furrion S+ camera system monitor has a built-in thermal protection, so it will temporarily shut off or restart to protect itself when it gets too hot which is what it sounds like you're describing.
