The rough details dual axle, Lippert, 2800lb, Lippert code is LCI35-SBSA-83.5-65.5-NOSP-US-L-545-7242-30PT-CAP 2800

Hi Ed,

Thanks for providing all of those axle details. That information makes it much easier to recommend the correct parts with confidence. Based on your Lippert axle code and the bearing numbers you provided, your axle uses a standard 3,500 pound spindle and has 10" by 2-1/4" brakes.

For your 10" by 2 1/4" brakes, I recommend the etrailer Self Adjusting Electric Trailer Brake Kit, part # AKEBRK-35-SA. This kit includes both the left and right brake assemblies for one axle and automatically keeps the brakes properly adjusted, so there's less maintenance over time and more consistent braking performance.

For the hubs, the Bearing Kit for 3,500 pound axles, part # BK2-100, is the best match. It includes the L68149 inner bearing, L44649 outer bearing, L68111 and L44610 races, a double lip grease seal, cotter pin, and spindle washer. Those components match the bearing and race numbers you listed, making it the correct replacement for your axle.

From everything you've shared, those are the parts I would recommend. If you're replacing the brakes on both axles, you'll need two AKEBRK-35-SA brake kits and four BK2-100 bearing kits.

Out of curiosity, how do you usually use your RV, mostly longer road trips or local camping weekends?

They were awesome easy to put on and self adjusting, but better than any car or truck I've ever worked on.

We are mostly weekend campers with our travel trailer. It is a 2016 bullet ultralight and I thought it was time to put new breaks on it. I received the order in just a few days and the hub assembly was pretty easy to install. I am very pleased with e-trailer for there service and supply of parts they have! Thank you.

@Ron I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Hearing from someone who's already completed the job is incredibly helpful for Ed and others looking to replace their trailer brakes and bearings. Where do you like to go with your Bullet Ultralight?
