Question:

I have a 2021 Geo Pro 20 BHS travel Trailer. I tow with a 2020 1500 Silverado diesel, 2inch receiver, and the trailer weighs approx. 4500. Will your new anti rattle collar work with this set up? I have a Fastway E2 Hitch. I purchased a Blue Ox anti Rattle and it did not fit on my Silverado or a 2025 Tundra, and the Curtis one broke when towing off road.

Hey JB, we have weight distribution systems that would work great with your weight distribution setup like the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch part # RM-061 but the etrailer system part # e38FV can't be used with WD as it puts too much stress on it. Usually with WD systems there's so much spring bar tension on the shank of the system that you don't see/hear a lot of movement in the hitch.

The device is so easy to install and use. It easily manages our 2000 lb teardrop trailer from slop in the hitch. It’s got a sanitary look and gives me better feel in the drivers seat, no banging around and you can tighten it on the fly without any tools. Good price and workmanship .

The wing nut is easy to use and stays locked down tight. I have used it with Hitch Cargo baskets, an Aliner trailer and a Space Utility Trailer. I do spray it down with WD 40 periodically. Only negative is it not easy to swap to another vehicle so when my friend drives his car we have to use the old style device. I should talk him into getting his own.

The Etrailer Anti Rattle works great on accessory style items you are using your hitch with however towing a travel trailer is just too much weight for it to handle. I bought it hoping it would take up the slack on my travel trailer hitch set up but it couldn't handle it.

I purchased the anti-rattle device to use on my e:bike rack. It is well built and made everything solid. E:bike and aluminum carrier weigh about 115 pounds total.

We have a 2021 E-Pro BHS towing with a 2022 Chevy Colorado (~4300 lbs), and I’ve now had two anti-rattle hitch parts that have broken. The first was under warranty and replaced by E-Trailer- the handle screw part broke off due to rust (even though I garage my truck). The second one is no longer operable as the handle screw bottoms out before sufficient tightening of the hitch. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. I am now back to my tried and true anti rattle hitch bracket, which is 1/4 the cost and has never failed me.
