Availability of Locking Latch for Baggage Door On 2025 Grand Design Solitude

Question:
I have a 2025 Grand Design Solitude. The baggage door on the curb side has two slam locks. One is Keyed and the other is not. I want to replace the non-locking with a keyed locking. This door is about 1 1/2 inches thick. Do you have one that will work? Thanks, Dan

Hey Dan! The Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000015 will work on your 2025 Grand Design Solitude. This fits a 3-3/8" wide x 3-3/4" tall cutout hole so you may have to modify what you have, and is compatible with a 1-1/2" thick door.

Hi Robin, No trips it stationary for now in the Appalachian Mountains in western NC. I have the hidden magnetic locks and assume both are magnetic for the size of the door. Is this one magnetic? What is the total cost to ship to Murphy, NC. zip 28906? You seem relatively sure it will fit but what if it doesn't? Dan DuPage

Doors without locks usually contain propane shut-offs or propane access. Pls consider this safety element when deciding. But the locking handles will work where nonlocking handles are found.
